Union Acupuncture Clinic was founded in 2012 by Daniel Nam, L.Ac., Ph.D., Dilp. O.M. (NCCAOM) with the vision of creating an acupuncture and Oriental Medicine practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. Staff

Daniel Nam, L.Ac., Ph.D., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM)

Daniel Nam, L.Ac. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science with a minor in Chemistry from University of Illinois at Chicago. He received a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo Univerisity in 1997 and received a Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine from California Union University in 2005. He passed California State Acupuncture Board exam in 1997 and became a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) from National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in 2005. He is an official acupuncturist of the Lake Elsinore Storm Baseball Team: A minor league team for San Diego Padres.

Daniel is the inventor of one of the U.S. Design Patent on Acupuncture Needle, and is a co-inventor of five U.S.Patents on human In-vitro clinical diagnostic tests on therapeutic drug monitoring and drugs of abuse.

Daniel enjoys mountain biking and hiking in his spare time. He and his wife, Lena, have lived and raised their two children in Lake Elsinore over the last 20 years.
